Thank You for an Outstanding 2026 Season!

 

As the 2026 Slate Valley Basketball tournament season comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to every player, coach, parent, referee, and fan who contributed to the success of this year’s events.

From the opening tip-offs to the championship games, this season was marked by dedication, sportsmanship, competitive excellence, and unforgettable moments. We are deeply appreciative of the continued support from our basketball community and grateful to everyone who helps make Slate Valley Basketball a meaningful and rewarding experience year after year.

 

To all of the teams who traveled from near and far to compete with us, thank you for your participation and commitment to the game. Your enthusiasm and competitive spirit are what make these tournaments both exciting and memorable.

 

We would also like to recognize the admissions staff, scorekeepers, officials, and facility personnel who work diligently behind the scenes to ensure that each event runs smoothly. Your contributions are invaluable and greatly appreciated.

 

As we conclude the 2026 season, we are already looking ahead and preparing for an even more successful 2027 season. We look forward to continuing to grow these tournaments that provide additional opportunities for athletes and families to enjoy the game we all value so highly.

​We will post schedules no later than the Tuesday before the tournament. They are often released sooner. Please check here for the release. Do not rely on emails, as they often end up in spam or junk folders. This is the best place for updates.

 

I have attached our updated rules for the season today. The Only BIG CHANGE is 4th and 5th grade will be a more conventional M2M defense ONLY. With more and more teams at that age level playing. We believe that this will improve the experience for the kids in a positive way. We will try it this year and adjust in the future if necessary. All the information on this is in the rules link Below. It will also be available on the Sports Engine app (formally Tourney Machine)
